Quick answer
In October 2026, a comprehensive PCOS lab package at Hi-Precision cost ₱8,700, a Kindred PCOS package started from ₱3,500, and a transvaginal ultrasound at a government hospital cost ₱450 to ₱750.
Generic metformin was ₱2 per tablet, against ₱18.25 per tablet for the brand.
October 2026 note
This is the first edition of the PCOS Cost Index, so there is no month-on-month change yet. The clearest pattern is the gap between routes. A government hospital ultrasound costs ₱450 to ₱750, while the same scan at Makati Medical Center is listed at ₱3,800 to ₱11,700. Comprehensive PCOS lab packages sit between ₱8,500 at Checkpoint and ₱10,600 to ₱14,700 at Patient First, and none we checked include a doctor's consult. Medicines show the biggest easy saving: generic metformin costs a fraction of Glucophage, and Althea, the same formula as Diane-35, is cheaper per box (₱487.45 against ₱695.75). We still have no verified published fee for an endocrinologist consult, so it shows as a gap. Next month we will add the first price changes and history charts.

Then we save a snapshot of the whole table, so history stays honest and can be checked later.

Once a month. We recheck every listed price and save a dated snapshot. History charts appear once there are at least two monthly snapshots.

Why is the endocrinologist fee missing?
We could not find a verified published endocrinologist consult fee. Rather than guess, we show it as a gap until we can confirm one.
Magkano ang PCOS check up ngayong buwan?
A basic check (consult plus ultrasound) usually costs about ₱1,500 to ₱2,500, and a full guideline workup about ₱4,000 to ₱10,000, depending on where you go. The full breakdown is on our PCOS cost guide.
Is PMOS the same as PCOS?
Yes. PMOS (polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome) is the new name for PCOS, announced in The Lancet on 12 May 2026. It is the same condition with the same diagnosis and the same treatments. Both names will be used until the 2028 International Guideline update.
